Nothing happens behind a kitchen door. Our chefs work the coals in front of you, whole cuts hung over fire, cauldrons smoking, sparks rising into the evening. It's theatre, aroma, and a genuine connection to what lands on your plate.
Why the Best Table Is Outside
The best meals we'd ever had weren't in restaurants. They were outside, around fire, watching a chef work with nothing between them and the plate.
Fire & Feast grew out of that: a desire to put flame back at the centre of the table, paired with Canterbury produce that changes with the seasons and chefs who cook by instinct over open coals. We chose vineyards, private settings, and our signature teepees to create something that feels sheltered but never closed off. We're not reinventing fine dining, we're remembering what eating together felt like before we complicated it
